About AKVNA
Association of Kerala Veterinarians in North America (AKVNA) was conceived in July 2000 in Detroit, Michigan. AKVNA aims at opening communication channels among all Veterinarians of Kerala origin in North America, contribute to the members, and also promoting veterinary education in Kerala, India.
We welcome all veterinarians of Kerala origin and their family members, residing in North America to join the association.
Build a community of well-connected Kerala veterinarians in North America and nurture our common bond to support veterinarians in Kerala.
AKVNA’s mission is to serve all Kerala veterinarians in North America through engagement, communication, advocacy, enrichment, and support to advance their professional and personal well being.

On behalf of the AKVNA 2023-24 Executive Committee, I am thrilled to announce that "Indianapolis, IN" has been selected as the venue for the 2024 Annual Meeting. I extend a warm invitation to you and your family to join us for this exciting event. This refreshing change of venue to the Midwest Region offers a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with old classmates, expand your network, explore new job possibilities, and partake in the festivities of the "Indy 500" car race and parades during the same weekend.

The Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) is hosting 12 interactive one-hour webinars to support members of CVMA and non-members (Internationally trained Veterinary professionals) that will provide both practical advice on how to best navigate the immigration process and answer participants' questions.
